Our Story
Thwip started with a simple idea: getting the right gear — or the right website — shouldn't be a headache. We hand-pick every component, wire every cable clean, and stress-test every build before it leaves the lab. And when it's a website, we design and develop it with the same care, so it launches fast and looks sharp. Based in Guildford, Surrey — currently serving customers across the UK.

CPU (Processor) — the "brain" that runs everything. It matters most for competitive/esports games, video editing, and running lots of things at once.
GPU (Graphics Card) — draws what's on screen. It matters most for gaming visuals, higher resolutions, and ray tracing.
AMD vs Intel vs NVIDIA — no single brand is "better" across the board. Each processor and graphics card below shows a plain tier (Entry-Level → Flagship) and, where one exists, the closest same-generation option from the other brand — so you can shop by budget or preference without guessing.
Rule of thumb: building mainly for gaming? Put more of your budget into the GPU. Building mainly for video editing or rendering? Put more into the CPU. The live performance panel below the build summary shows exactly how your choices play out.
